Ways
to Change
This is my perspective or perception. IF I had authoritative power I will lead MY administration to pursue
for every possible ways to achieve peace and prosperity without any sacrifice of “truth, liberty, prosperity and to
pursue life for happiness”. Everlasting peace will follow when these fundamental principles are adhere and implemented.
In other words IF I am the President of USA concerning with foreign policy, I will find ways and means to tackle respect and
understanding to all nations, big or small, friends or foes, rich or poor. My basic instinct is to find ways to accommodate
peace, prosperity and pursuit for happiness to all races and regions of the world. Many will say this is a long shot or a
dream. Well, long shot or not, a shot is a shot and giving a shot is better than not shooting at all. Does it? As for the
dream, my message is dreams do come true or become reality. These are not fictions but facts I am presenting. Revealing the
truth has no time limit nor circumstances.
First I will make USA strong financially, militarily, politically,
mentally/spiritually and educationally. THEN…………….I will approach each nation’s ruling
government individually, differently according to their particular circumstances and situations. Nations for instance like
Iran, North Korea, China, Russia and Burma etc.
Since I am a native of Burma or Myanmar, I will emphasize particularly
on Burma or Myanmar. Name doesn’t matter to me. Even the military government doesn’t matter to me. I will approach
each nation’s current governments or rulers with mutual respect and reasonable understanding. I will create a team for
each nation on earth starting from Burma. I will negotiate with them (both friends and foes alike), not with force but with
wisdom and understanding. Fair (balance) and Frank (openness) will be my motto. I will find ways that can accommodate both
parties which is my team and their government. Finding common grounds to achieve humanity progress and lessen problems between
us and them is my goal and aim. I will established my Embassy with able and intelligent staffs in their capital, Naypyitaw.
I will instruct my staff to learn every possible ways to find common ground that is beneficial to both Burma/Myanmar and USA.
I will negotiate with them in equal footing as “partners” and not as contenders. Negotiation need skills, intellect
and innovation. I will appoint an Ambassador and seek for normal relationship doing normal business. I will exchange expertees
from both sides to understand each other better and create warmer relationship between us and them. I will help them on their
weaknesses in exchange for their help in co-operation to promote democracy and prosperity beneficial for both Union of Myanmar
and USA. I will invite them to my country as “guest” and not as “enemies” vice versa I will sent my
representatives as “guests” and not as “enemies” to their country to promote understanding each other
culture, background, history and current situation. No nation on earth should be dealt as “discriminatory manner”
and no nation on earth will be look down by me and my administration. Sincerely and logically.
There are interesting
events going on right now. Events like hackers hacking pro democracy websites, release of 9002 prisoners which included one
highly prominent political prisoner U win tin. U win tin is a staunch veteran of political dissent against the junta. Although
it is true the junta had the absolute power to arrest again any time for in the past they demonstrated their conduct by arresting,
releasing and re-arresting again just like humans are like toys for them. The junta toss and turn their prey (pro-democracy)
as they like. I do not argue with that. What I would like to point out is that as time moves on (time never waits for man)
changes do accompanied sometimes. Both Than Shwe and Maung Aye are at their old age. Just like their predecessor Ne Win, their
time will come and they both have to go one day, like it or not. This is natural and predictable. What is un predictable is
the motion of the Burmese military monopoly and grip on the nation and the people. Will Than Shwe and Maung Aye let another
junior officer/s to do the same thing like they did after Ne win? Will another General and his family take over the Monarchy
trend of Than Shwe/Maung Aye conduct. Will the next General/s take their place and rule Myanmar with degree? Will their one
sided draft Constitution stand? Will their election (they once did it in 1990 and nullified when their proxy party lose) had
any merit if there is one? There are many problems/questions to be answer than solutions. Did the Burmese military ever realize
there are 3 prominent factors in Burma which they are one of them or will they think they are the only one factor concerning
with the Union? Will they mistakenly think Burmese military is made to rule as “government” and exist not as an
institution? The next generation of generals are waiting on the wing. As soon as the older generation dies out the younger
generation takes turn in exploiting the nation and the people? How long will this cycle of militant revolt continues? A trend
started by Ne Win. A genie that was contain in the bottle comes out and now it is way out of control even to the founder Ne
Win himself who created the military as government. Will the long pants boots wearing species control and rule sarong wearing
people? What does it like to rule a nation with foreign attire wearing first class aliens? Honestly it is an insult to Myanmar’s
culture and heritage by allowing Chinese to flood Mandalay City and destroy the true authentic Myanmar culture with Chinese,
Indians and Thai goods and influence. Myanmar does not look like Myanmar. Myanmar looks like Chinese or Indians or Thais.
What did they did to Myanmar? What had become of Myanmar and Myanmar style?
